Friday Health Claims Status Portal

Friday Health Plans of Nevada, In Liquidation

Since the liquidation of Friday Health Plans of Nevada on September 1, 2023, the Nevada Life and Health Insurance Guaranty Association has been responsible for claims. The Guaranty Association has processed 9,300 of approximately 12,000 open claims for Friday Health Members. We are continuing to process claims daily and ask for your continued patience as we work as quickly as possible to adjudicate remaining claims.

The Guaranty Association will process all claims for services provided before midnight on August 31st pursuant to the terms of the policy and up to a statutory limit of $500,000. Services occurring after August 31st will not be considered for payment. Please do not resubmit claims as this will delay processing. For unsubmitted claims, please continue to use the current processes. For additional information, please refer to the resources below:

  Friday Health 2023 Class B Assessment

  On September 1, 2023 the Association noticed Members of an authorized $30M Class B assessment, of which $15M was called to cover claims liabilities for the Friday Health Plans of Nevada liquidation on September 1, 2023. We are asking all Members to pay electronically via Melio. A unique Melio link to facilitate payment can be found on the Assessment invoice issued to your company.

  To all Nevada licensed Life, Annuity and Health insurers: You will find the Guaranty Association's updated Summary Document by clicking on the Additional Info link or by clicking here. This new document is effective on or before July 1, 2022. All issued life, annuity, health policies, and health benefit plans must include this approved document with issued policy related documentation.
